UZO is an e-commerce platform where businesses and manufacturers (hereinafter referred to as "merchants") can sell their products directly to consumers. As a passive platform, UZO does not actively participate in the offering, sale, or delivery of goods offered by its merchants.
As part of its main mission and services provided to its users, UZO has strict policies prohibiting the offering or sale of products that violate copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of third parties. In connection with these policies, UZO strives to provide ways for third parties to inform them about cases of alleged infringement of their intellectual property rights. UZO also reserves the right to block access to materials or remove materials that it believes in good faith to be infringing on the rights of third parties, and further remove merchants or terminate the provision of services to merchants who repeatedly violate these rights.
Below are some information regarding intellectual property, how eligible parties can report to UZO on alleged intellectual property infringements, and information on how merchants on the UZO platform can respond when such claims are directed at their offerings or accounts. All reports by UZO that a certain material infringes valid and existing intellectual property rights must be made in good faith, under oath and under penalty of perjury.
If any trademark owner believes that counterfeit goods that infringe their trademark rights may be sold on the UZO marketplace, they should immediately contact UZO to take all necessary legal steps to remove such a seller who would be in violation of trademark law. UZO takes intellectual property rights very seriously and is committed to ensuring that its platform is free of counterfeit goods and other infringing materials. Therefore, UZO encourages trademark owners to report any suspected cases of infringement so that appropriate action can be taken promptly.
